Admissions Procedure

The guidelines regarding admissions follows the understanding that all learners will benefit from intensive and varied interventions and remediation therapy programmes offered or facilitated by the school.

Interviews will be conducted with the parents to ascertain more information and they will be required to produce the relevant documentation which will help identify any specific learning barrier/s.

Applicants deemed suitable will be assessed over a one day period and parents must on request, supply any further assessments or additional information if required. Parents will be notified of the results.

If the applicant is successful, they will be placed immediately if there is a vacancy in that particular grade or if not, then on a waiting list until a space does become available. Applicants applying for the following years annual intake will be placed according to availability.

A learner may be admitted conditional to certain terms and conditions being met or on a trial basis.

Parents are required to contact the school directly.

The following documentation is required for all applicants:

> Copy of an updated Educational Psychology Report, no longer than 1 year old.
> Copy of the latest School Report.
> Copy of any Therapy Reports.

Once the applicant has been accepted:

> Copy of ID documentation of both parents.
> Copy of the learner’s Immunization card.
> Copy of learners Birth Certificate.
