- Parents must commit to supporting the school and their child at home.
- Learners that are acccepted will include those with learning difficulties in reading, writing, spelling, spoken language, comprehension, memory, numeracy or perceptual skills.
- The diagnosis must be identified by a Neurologist, Pediatrician or Educational Psychologist before application is made to the school, and the parents must follow their recommendations.
- Learners identified on the Autistic Spectrum can also be accommodated provided the child has academic potential.
NON-ACCEPTANCE:
- Learners with severe visual or hearing impairments as well as learners with physical barriers cannot be accommodated at Charlton Scholars.
- Learners with behaviour, severe emotional barriers or psychiatric conditions cannot be accommodated.
- Charlton Scholars does not offer boarding facilities or transport services.
